We are having a session at the Measuring Behavior 2024 conference, The 13th International Conference on Methods and Techniques in Behavioral Research (15-17 May, 2024, Scotland) called »TEATIME presents: Enhancing Reproducibility and Animal Welfare through Home Cage Systems, Insights and lessons learnt«, where we will share our experiences with different home-cage monitoring systems, commercial and non-commercial. In addition, we will discuss these systems’ advantages and disadvantages from a user perspective while discussing future directions that that may include the application of machine learning in both data acquisition and novel analyses methods.
