The recipient of the grant spent time with Home Cage Monitoring (HCM) teams, including animal and phenotyping technicians, as well as the technical development team. They were given a tour of the mouse facility, introduced to specialist platforms, and spent time with the animal care team and compliance and training managers. Additionally, the grantee attended journal clubs, and observed data collection and entry, RFID microchip implantation, and data management processes. Self-study was also included as part of their experience.
